Formation

The expression of our Catholic faith takes on many forms. Loreto Ministries supports our schools and ministries with formation processes and resources aimed at deepening our understanding and embrace of Gospel values, the spirit of founders Mary Ward, Teresa Ball and Gonzaga Barry, the Loreto charism, Ignatian spirituality and the educational mission of the Catholic church.

Access to wonderful archives, pilgrimages, colloquia, liturgical material and guest speakers challenge and enrich us all. Loreto Ministries’ staff prepare such resources and collaborate with the Loreto Schools Australia Committee and our Principals’ Forum to update and generate formation opportunities and policies, as well as supporting gatherings of students, staff, boards and Sisters. While the pandemic saw some formation programs move online in recent years, it is fantastic to be working in person with Loreto communities once again. Here, we profile the Loreto Formation Framework and several past Formation Programs run and/or supported by Loreto Ministries:
