The Gender Agenda with Prue Gilbert

Prue Gilbert

Prue Gilbert, founder of Grace Papers and past Loreto Toorak student, is on a mission to close the gender gap through education combined with proven strategies that are capable of transforming gendered stereotypes.

“It ought to be a basic human right to have a baby, take some time off to care for him or her, and return to work, with as little stress and hardship as possible. And yet, a report by the University of New South Wales has found that Australian working mothers with children under five experience stress 90 percent of the time.”

Tim Toohey, chief economist at Goldman Sachs says Australia is missing out on $195 billion or 13 percent of GDP by failing to close the workforce gender gap.

A former chief legal counsel at of one of Australia’s top 200 listed companies, Prue transitioned out of corporate life and co-founded ‘Grace Papers’, a six step digital program which drives social change by challenging traditional stereotypes and providing empowering support for working parents. Her leadership drives change at both societal and organisational levels.

Prue is an entrepreneur at heart, a passionate human rights advocate and a mum to three young children.
