FORMATION
Formation for Senior Leaders
Loreto Ministries supports our senior leadership network with formation processes and resources aimed at deepening understanding and embrace of Gospel values, the spirit of our founders, and the educational mission of the Church. Such formation is critical to authentic, mission-focused governance and leadership.
OUR APPROACH
A shared foundation for all who lead
The Loreto Formation Framework for Stewards and Sponsors Council (2022) was prepared as part of the petition to the Dicastery for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life to establish the Loreto Ministries MPJP. This framework now informs formation provided for Loreto Ministries' Steward Directors and is shared with Loreto School Boards and principals.
This transparency highlights that all senior leaders in the Loreto network participate in formation and provides focus ideas that school boards may like to explore, drawing from the Dimensions and Outcomes listed in the framework.
"In this way, we create necessary space for the 'who' and 'why' of our work to inform the 'what' and 'how'."
The Loreto Formation Framework (2021) was developed to strengthen formation processes across boards and committees of all ministries governed by the Loreto Province of Australia and South East Asia. The principles and outcomes of formation identified in this document form the basis of resources provided each year to School Boards for their annual formation programs.
