Ms Lana Turvey-Collins

Co-founder and Lead Facilitator of the Australian Association of Formation for Mission. More than 20 years' experience in learning design and mission formation, including work in Zambia, Timor-Leste, Peru and Japan.

Sr Wendy Hildebrand CJ
Sr Wendy Hildebrand brings to the role of Province Leader a deep well of experience in education, social work, and leadership. She began her ministry teaching at Loreto Mandeville Hall Toorak and Loreto Normanhurst before moving into senior roles in social service organisations, where she led programs supporting people facing marginalisation and disadvantage. Previously serving as Province Leader for six years, Wendy is known for her vision, energy and collaborative spirit.
Sr Mercia Richards CJ
Sr Mercia Richards has served as a Province Councillor, Loreto Community Leader, educator and spiritual director. Deeply grounded in the Ignatian tradition, she brings a reflective, participatory approach to leadership. Mercia draws inspiration from Mother Gonzaga Barry’s encouragement to “remain faithful to grace” – a reminder of the presence and promptings of the Spirit in times of change.
Sr Angela Slattery CJ
Sr Angela Slattery is a respected educator in pastoral and spiritual care. She has taught in several Loreto schools and spent two decades in the Kimberley region, offering adult religious education across Indigenous communities in the Diocese of Broome. Angela has also supported formation of Loreto Sisters in Australia and Vietnam, and actively participated in justice movements such as the Women’s March for Justice. Her compassionate leadership continues to reflect Mary Ward’s bold vision.
Sr Helen Maguire CJ
Sr Helen has a background in education, including Diplomas in Primary Teaching and Educational Administration. She has taught in schools across Australia, was a Junior School Principal for 28 years and has spent time working overseas in Kolkata India, Fiji and Vietnam. After finishing her ministry in schools, Helen worked in both adult and paediatric hospitals in the pastoral care of patients, families and staff.
Sr Diaan Stuart CJ
Sr Diaan has served as Principal at Loreto Ballarat, Loreto Normanhurst and Loreto College Marryatville. Following 27 years as a principal, she was the CEO of the Province Loreto Education Board for five years before going to Timor-Leste as a founding member of the Loreto Mission there. She was nominated for a Spirit of Catholic Education Award in 2017 by the Queensland Catholic Education Commission.

Executive Assistant has a dual reporting line to Chief Operating Officer, Loreto Province Australia & South East Asia. The four positions of Manager, HR & Policy, Manager, Communications & Marketing, Communications and Marketing Advisor and Director, Mission & Identity all provide shared services, professional advice and support to Loreto Province.
