GOVERNANCE
Strategic Plan 2025–2029
The Loreto Ministries Strategic Plan 2025–2029 sets the direction for our work over the coming years. Grounded in misson, it identifies five strategic priorities that shape our focus across governance, formation, leadership and education.
OUR DIRECTION
The Loreto Ministries Strategic Plan 2025–2029 articulates a clear vision for the future of Loreto education in Australia.
It sets five strategic priorities that guide the work of our Steward Directors, staff and the broader Loreto network.
"An inclusive, flourishing Circle of Friends collaborating to steward our Loreto story of excellence in education into the future."
The plan is grounded in the mission and charism of Mary Ward, the canonical responsibilities of Loreto Ministries as an MPJP, and the needs of six schools and the communities they serve.

THE FIVE STRATEGIC PRIORITIES
What guides our work across every ministry
Each priority represents an area of deep focus for Loreto Ministries - connecting our canonical and civil responsibilities and our care for every school in the network.
1.
Formation for Mission
Deepening the formation of all who serve Loreto schools, ensuring the Mary Ward charism continues to animate goverance, leadership
and communities of learning and faith.
2.
Leadership
Developing and supporting leaders across the Loreto network who are equipped
to lead with integrity, courage and mission-focus.
3.
Relationships
Strengthening the connections within and between Loreto school communities, and with the broader Loreto network in Australia and internationally.
4.
Financial Sustainability
Ensuring Loreto schools are financially strong and sustainable, so they are able
to continue their mission of education and service for generations to come.
5.
Loreto Education - Future Focus
Positioning Loreto schools to respond to the evolving needs of young people and society, while remaining faithful to the founding values of Mary Ward.
Continuing the mission of Jesus as seekers of truth and doers of justice
The mission of Loreto Ministries finds expression in four commitments that run through every priority of the Strategic Plan:
We offer excellent Catholic education within the Mary Ward tradition.
We provide leadership for vibrant and flourishing ministries.
We collaborate with others to build a just and sustainable world.
In a spirit of discernment, we act with freedom and integrity and we are people of joy.
Understand how we govern
The Strategic Plan works alongside our governance structure, our formation programs and our policies to keep the mission strong.
